Void Properties

With the increasing incidence of vandalism, theft and occupancy from squatters, the protection of void properties has become paramount. The use of our MAC Cam system allows these properties to be protected by visually verified alarm activations.

Traditionally these properties are boarded up until ready for refurbishment and re-occupation. This time period and the time whilst they are being refurbished are when they are at their most vulnerable. The installation of new cabling, copper piping and household appliances are increasingly being targeted by thieves, who see the opportunity as an easy property to steal from.

Our system when installed will allow us to provide a rapid response to any intrusion activation. We compliment this visually verified alarm with both Keyholder and dedicated Police response.

As the MAC Cam system can accommodate upto 24 devices from a single panel groups of properties can be protected with one system, providing a cost effective solution to this problem.

We have recently completed trials with Mulalleys for a number of voids for Gallion Homes where incidence of theft was reduced to zero for the period our installation was in place.
